Big idea, tiny canvas.

It’s one thing elaborating a thesis over the course of 200 pages; quite another to condense a huge story into a three minute video explainer. I love short-form storytelling almost as much as long-form, so I’m proud of these micro-films I scripted for BBC Knowledge & Learning.

Bringing the archives to life

As part of the BBC’s WW1 centenary programming, I condensed a mountain of research into three micro- documentary scripts. Using a mix of infographics and animated archive footage, with narration by Dan Snow, we aimed to open up ultra-accessible entry points to this huge historical topic.
