I’m delighted to announce my return to yoga teaching after an 18 month break.
I haven’t been idle: in 2014 I moved away from London after more than 15 years, and in 2015 I had a baby boy. My family is now based in Dedham, a gorgeous village on the Essex/Suffolk border in the heart of ‘Constable Country’.
To add to my immense good fortune, Dedham recently gained a beautiful yoga studio: The Tallow Factory.
It belongs to my new friend Lou Hart, who has returned to her childhood home after a long exile in Los Angeles, where she trained at Yoga Works. She’s awesome and so is her studio: intimate, atmospheric and warmly welcoming, it occupies the top floor of a converted Tudor candle factory and opens onto a tranquil courtyard just off the High Street.
Lou has been running classes there very successfully since last summer, and I’m really excited that she has now invited me to join her team and help her build a yoga community at The Tallow Factory. It means I get the chance to practice and teach in a space that’s full of character and planned with a great deal of love and attention to detail.
I do hope some of you reading this will be able to come and join us for a yoga class soon. I’ll be teaching a Thursday morning hatha flow class to begin with, and we have plans to add workshops, day retreats and longer residential courses as the story unfolds.
