I’m writing a series of articles for welldoing.org about the different styles of yoga on offer in the UK.
In my experience, the world of yoga is thick with jargon – at least as bad as some of the corporate environments I’ve worked in as a copywriter. It can be intimidating to newbies, and that’s a shame. With this project, I’ve tried to give some background information about each ‘school’ of hatha yoga, along with a flavour of what it’s like to take a class and who may or may not enjoy it.
You can read the articles at welldoing by following the links below – I’ll add more week by week, as the series continues. I hope you’ll recognise old favourites, and maybe feel inspired to try something new.
